Future Family Cruising - Which One Cruise Line to Choose?

How do you choose the right cruise as a family?  There are many options out there, and although many have similar ports of call and cruise ship amenities, it comes down to the little things. We list out some of our thoughts around the 7 top cruise lines.  Cruises are a fantastic way for families to explore new destinations while enjoying a plethora of onboard activities.

The way children consume information and ideas is changing...think about it for a few.  Our children consume videos in short snippets, want bite sized information and lose interest quickly.  Cruising is growing in popularity with younger generations because hopping from place to place and getting a taste on many locations fits with their changing personalities.

Would be happy to hear your thoughts and in the next post, we will share our favorite cruise line, which isn't even on this list!

1.  DISNEY CRUISE LINE

  • Themed Entertainment: Disney cruises are a dream come true for families, especially those with young children. With Disney characters onboard and themed entertainment, it's like stepping into a fairy tale.
  • Family-Friendly Facilities: From pools to play areas, everything is designed with families in mind, ensuring a fun and safe environment for the little ones.

Cons:

  • Pricey: Disney cruises tend to be on the higher end of the budget scale, which might not be feasible for all families.
  • Crowds: Popular with families, these cruises can get crowded, especially during peak seasons, which might be overwhelming for some.
